    Taklamakan Platform (Pickup Bed Platform / Roof Platform)

    The Taklamakan Platform is a core modification component for mid-size pickups (Great Wall POER, Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, Isuzu D-MAX, Nissan Navara, etc.) designed for off-roading, overlanding, and camping. It features high-strength load capacity, modular expansion, and extreme durability for desert, Gobi, and no-man’s land environments. custom 1:1 molded to Original vehicle specs with drill-free installation, it is the standard equipment for cross-desert adventures like the Taklimakan Rally, Alxa, and Taklamakan Desert crossings.

    I. Core Functions

    1. Extreme Load-Bearing & Protection

    • Made of high-strength 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy (lightweight, corrosion-resistant) or carbon steel (heavy-duty, Cost-effective), with a rated static load capacity of ≥300kg. It can carry roof tents, spare tires, fuel cans, toolboxes, recovery gear, motorcycles, UTVs, and more, solving the problems of insufficient pickup bed space and damage to valuable items exposed outdoors.

    • The platform has anti-slip grooves, guardrails, and tie-down points to prevent cargo shifting. Reinforced bottom beams and original vehicle longitudinal mounts resist vibration and torsion, ensuring no deformation or rattling on rough off-road surfaces.

    2. Modular Expansion for Multi-Purpose Use

    • Compatible with roof tents, awning brackets, spotlights/light bars, Flagpole Mounts, shovel/Hi-Lift jack holders, fuel can racks, water tank racks, recovery board mounts, etc., allowing quick switching between camping, overlanding, rescue, and utility vehicle modes.

    • Can be paired with roll-up covers, flat covers, or hard canopies to form a "platform + bed cover" dual protection system, combining anti-theft security with maximum storage.

    3. Improved Off-Road Capability & Practicality

    • Low-drag design (streamlined edges + hollow/semi-hollow panels) reduces high-speed wind noise and fuel consumption. The platform height is controlled to avoid compromising approach/departure angles (typically ≤15cm ground clearance for mid-size pickup models).

    • Pre-drilled drainage holes and cable routing channels simplify the installation of electrical accessories like spotlights, radios, and car fridges, keeping wiring neat and free from abrasion.

    4. Original Pickup Bed Protection
